Founded in 2019, Action for Assange DC has led numerous successful campaigns to raise awareness of the plight of imprisoned journalist Julian Assange, including holding bi-weekly vigils at the home of Attorney General Merrick Garland, rallies at the DC Department of Justice featuring speakers from across the nation, and a recent action at the Australian Embassy to put pressure on Prime Minister Albanese to fight for the freedom of this imprisoned Australian journalist. Free Assange!
